Another custom built craft, Esther Rosa, a 1963 Cavanaugh design, wooden
cabin cruiser was back again for a round of cosmetics. We took her standing top off and replaced
it with a sleeker model and a new windshield. While she was having a
little nip and tuck at the shop, which included new
sister ribs, her owners were heading up an effort
to have her engine rebuilt. This blushing beauty is
proof that wooden boats only get better with age.
To help the owners decide what to do with the windows we did a little computer work and came up with a couple different ideas for them to look at.
